Renovations affect help desk & labs

The Computer Center in the Hammermill Building is undergoing major renovations.
Changes include a new student cyber lounge, seminar/ teaching lab, help desk, and staff offices. See the floor plan for more details.

Due to the renova-tions, a temporary "open" lab and staffed Help Desk have been established in Hammermill 143. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Fridays until 6:00 p.m.

Staff Offices Temporarily Relocated

The Computer Center staff offices are temporarily relocated to the Annexes behind the Science building. Once renovations are complete, staff will move back to a new suite of offices in Hammermill.

The General Electric Foundation Computer Center is located in the Hammermill Building. The center manages eleven public labs as well as some school-specific labs. The public labs are located across campus in the following buildings: Hammermill, Lilley Library, Nick, REDC, and Witkowski (in the School of Science lab complex).

The labs are equipped with personal computers, which are connected to the Computer Center's local area network. These networked computers have access to the Internet and to a wide variety of application and instructional software packages.

The computing facilities are available to faculty, staff, and students during regularly scheduled hours of the Computer Center, unless otherwise posted or reserved for classes.
