Mr. Thomas Briselden is a lecturer in engineering at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. Credentials include a B.S.M.E. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1985 and an M.S.M.E. from Cleveland State University in 1999. Mr. Briselden is a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME) and the American Society of Electrical Engineers (ASEE).
Mr. Briselden came to Penn State Behrend with 14 years of engineering experience. Former employers include Pyronics, Inc., Institute of Gas Technology, Consolidated Natural Gas, CEC Consultants, and Industrial Center, Inc. Mr. Briselden is very active with his own start-up companies STORM Development, LLC & Spinworks, LLC. Both of these companies are in the research business, developing energy saving techniques where they continually innovate, develop, make, and market, silicon carbide based energy saving products for industry. This, combined with the way the companies over-service their customers and take care of their employees, has driven strong growth and profitability that will continue for years to come.
